Government Schools

Minstry of Education in Singapore conducts an annual admissions exercise (AEIS) during September/October for new international students who wish to join government schools. Please note that admission of international students into mainstream schools is subject to availability of school vacancies, among other criteria. All Singapore Government Primary and Secondary Schools are reputed.
International Schools, Foreign-System and Private Schools
Singapore’s government school system is comprehensive and of high standards. Expatriates can choose to send their children to international, foreign-system schools and private schools in Singapore.
There are more than 30 international schools in Singapore. These schools may offer an education pathway and curriculum that are similar to those in your home country. Each school has its own admission criteria.
The international schools offer secondary and post-secondary education, leading to the British National Curriculum, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP), and the Cambridge A Levels, which are recognized worldwide.
